Profile  & History of Andhra Bank: Andhra Bank was established on 20th November, 1923 by a famous freedom fighter, Dr.Bhogaraju Pattabhi Sitaramayya with a paid up capital of Rs. 1lakh and an authorized capital of Rs. 10lakhs.  Through many ups and downs Andhra Bank has now attained a status with a total business of up to Rs.105280 Crores. Shri R S Reddy, Chairman and Managing Director Sri Anil Girotra, Executive Director are leading Andhra Bank towards higher goals.

There are 1448 Andhra Bank branches that cover 22 states and 2 Union Territories. Andhra Bank branches are function under core Banking platform. As on 30th June 2009, Andhra Bank has 778 ATM centers, Other than these ATMs there are 38,000 ATMs where Andhra Bank’s ATM cards are acceptable. Bank has plans to open 121 more branches and 50 ATMs in North India.
