Baitarani Gramya Bank Selection Process will be based on the candidates performance in Written Test and Interview/Personal Interview.. All the eligible candidates who have applied with the requisite fee and whose applications are received in time will be called for written test .

A)Written Test:

Written test contains two section,

1.objective Test:

The duration of objective test will be 150 minutes

The sections covered under Objective Test are as follows:

• Test of Reasoning Ability :
  • Total no of Questions -50 Question
  • Total no of Marks:50 Marks
• Test of English Language
  • Total no of Questions -50 Question
  • Total no of Marks:50 Marks

Test of English Language :The test is only a qualifying one and carries no weightage in the total Marks

• Test of  Quantitative Aptitude
  • Total no of Questions -50 Question
  • Total no of Marks:50 Marks
• Test of General Awareness
  • Total no of Questions -50 Question
  • Total no of Marks:50 Marks

The candidates should be qualified in each objective Test separately.

Negative marking will be calculated for each wrong answer in objective written test.

2.Descriptive Test

The duration of descriptive test is 60 minutes.

Descriptive test will have 5 compulsory questions with internal options to assess the candidate’s knowledge about Socio-Economic Developments and Communication skills

Applicants/Candidates Kindly Note: -

• The questions will be in English Language, but the candidates have to answer the descriptive paper in Oriya only.
• Candidates have to pass in each of the Objective and Descriptive tests separately and negative marks will be calculated for each wrong answers in the Objective Tests.
• Mere eligibility/pass in the written test doesn’t allow any candidate for being called for interview.

B) Interview:

• Based on the number of vacancies the candidates who have ranked high in the Objective test will only be called for interview.
• Final selection for the post of clerk/officer in Baitarani Gramya Bank will be based  on ranking accorded after adding the marks obtained in the Objective Tests and Interview. The Descriptive Tests is just a qualifying test.
• The detailed information regarding the Written Examination will be given in the “Prepare Yourself” booklet, which will be sent to the candidates along with the call letter for the Written Examination.
• Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/XS/OBC category will be extended relaxation upto 5% qualifying marks in the interview to qualify for final merit listing.

Call Letters for written Examination:

• From Baitarani Gramya Bank , the call letter for written exam will be sent to the eligible applicant/candidates address , as mentioned in their application form send  by candidates through ordinary post.
• For the post of Officer if an eligible candidate for written exam  does not receive the call letter by12th november 2009 can contact the Bank at the under mentioned address between 10amto 2pm on the  16^th November 2009 by indicating candidates name, address, date of birth, details of Bank (DD)Demand Draft and Examination Centre opted, to enable the Bank to take immediate action.
• For the post of Office Assistant-Clerical if an eligible candidate for written examination does not receive the call letter by 19^th November 2009 those candidates  may contact the Bank at the under mentioned address between 10am to 2pm on 23^rd November 2009 by indicating candidates name, address, date of birth, details of Bank (DD)Demand Draft and Examination Centre opted to enable the Bank to take immediate action.
