As per the notification, Oriental bank of commerce is recruiting 200 Officers on contract basis for marketing various products of the bank.

Post – Vacancies – Payscale:
Posts available : 200 posts
Post Name – Contract Officer
Salary – Rs.17000 /month
Period of Contract – 3 years with an option to extend for 2 years.

Oriental Bank of Commerce Contract Officer Job Profile – Marketing the Insurance, Mutual Fund and other products of the Bank. Responsible for end to end sales & any other work assigned by the bank from time to time.

Dates : Online registration of applications – 5.07.2010 to 19.07.2010
Screening Test/ Interview – 12.09.2010

Eligibility Criteria: To apply for Officer post in OBC, Candidates should

* be within 21 – 30 yrs of age, as on 1.07.2010

* Must be a graduate in any degree (MBA preferred), as on 1.07.2010

* Candidates should have knowledge of computers & good communication skills

=> Job involves marketing of Insurance,Mutual funds & other products of bank.The initial contract period would be for 3 yrs.

Selection Process: The process of selection for officer recruitment in Oriental bank of commerce will be through a Screening test and shortlisted candidates will have to attend an Interview that will be conducted by the bank.

Application : Candidates who wish to apply for this post have to pay an application fee of Rs.400(Gen/OBC) or Rs.50(SC/ST) at any Oriental bank of Commerce branches, using the deposit receipt. After payment is made, applications have to be filled & submitted through the bank website – obcindia.co.in before 19.07.2010.
