United Bank of India Recruitment – 370 Probationary Officer posts – United Bank of India (UBI) headquartered in Kolkatta is one of the leading public sector bank in India with over 1500 branches and 28 regional offices across India. United Bank of India is looking to expand its operations across India and is looking to recruit probationary officers to fill the vacancies.

According the latest notification issued, United bank of India is inviting applications for recruitment of 370 Probationary Officer posts.

Position : Probationary Officer
Vacancies – 370 posts
Payscale -  Rs.14500 – 25700

Dates to Remember : Online registration of applications – 10.08.2010 to 8.09.2010
Date of Written Test – 14.11.2010 (Nov 14, 2010)

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates who are interested to apply for United bank of India – PO jobs need to fulfill the following criteria set by the bank,

* Must have 55% in Degree (UG or PG) as on 01.07.2010
* Age should be 21 yrs – 30 yrs as on 1.7.2010
* Completed a computer course (minimum 6 months) from govt recognized institute.
* Those waiting for results/ final year students are not eligible to apply

Selection Process: The selection process for the United Bank of India PO Recruitment is through Written test (Objective & Descriptive) & Interview. Based on the performance, candidates would be selected.

Note: There is negative marking in objective test (may be 0.25) for each wrong answer.The minimum qualifying mark for each objective test will be set by the bank only.
