Allahabad Bank Recruitment 2009 -Allahabad Bank has announced job vacancy for the post of Probationary Officer(PO) and Agriculture Field Officer-AFO(in Specialist cadre) with a total of 990 vacancies. Interested candidates can apply online in the official website of Allahabad Bank- www.allahabadbank.in.

The online application registration starts on 8th December 2009.The lat date for online application registration is 5th January 2010.The written examination for the post of Probationary officer-PO and AFO- Agriculture Field Officer may commence on 21st February 2010.

Age Limit: The candidate applying for the post of Probationary officer, Agriculture Field Officer in Allahabad Bank must be within the age limit of 21 yrs- 30 yrs as on 1st January 2010.

No of Post Available :

For the post of  Probationary officer – 880 posts are available.

For the post of  Agriculture Field Officer – 110 posts are available.

Eligibilty Criteria :

  • Candidate applying for the post of PO,AFO in Allahabad Bank must be a citizen of India.
  • Educational Qualification:

For Probationary Officer :

  • The candidate should be a graduate from any recognized university with a aggregate of 55% percentage of Marks(incase of SC/ST candidates 50% marks).
  • The candidate must have computer qualification like Diploma in Computer Operation from NIIT,SSI,Aptech,CMC,DOEACC course/certificate(O/A/B/C) Level etc.. is essential.

For Agriculture Field Officer :

  • The candidate should be a graduate and he/she must have secured 55%(incase of SC/ST candidates 50% )marks in  Agriculture Engineering/ Fishery Science/ Pisciculture/ Agriculture Marketing /Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Animal usbandry/ Veterinary Science/ Dairy Scienceand Co-operation from the university recognized by Government of India.
  • Post Gradutes can also apply for the job , the above mentioned crtiteria is also applicable for Post Graduate candidates.
  • Computer Knowledge is very essential
