Bank of India Clerk written exam dates has been announced by the bank for Recruitment of 1750 Clerks. The new date of written exam for Bank of India clerk post is SEPTEMBER 6^th 2009.The written exam process for Bank of India starts with Objective test , the selected candidates of Objective test will be eligible to attend the personal interview/direct interview.

The Bank of India  has planned  to conduct the  Written Test as two sessions

1.Morning at 9.30 a.m on September 6^th 2009.

2. Afternoon at 2.00 p.m. on September 6^th 2009.

Bank of India Clerk Exam Call Letters Information:

All eligible Candidates will receive their  Call Letters 8 days before the Test/Exam.

BANK OF INDIA Examination Process/Pattern 2009:

Process 1 : Written Objective Test

• Total marks for written exam will be 300 Marks.

Process 2: Personal Interview:

• For personal interview the marks are (100 Marks).

To attend  Personal interview the candidates are required to obtain minimum 40 % marks in each section of objective test ,nearly 35% marks for Reserved Category .

• 50% marks in all the Objective Tests taken together.
• 45% marks for Reserved Category.

Written Examination Syllabus for the post of Clerk in Bank of India :

Objective Test – post of Clerk in Bank of India:

• Total Number of questions are 200 Questions.
• The Maximum Marks is 300 marks.
• Time for examination is 90 minutes

Different Section in Examination is as follows:

i) Reasoning and Numerical Aptitude Test:

• Total no of questions for section of  Reasoning & Numerical Aptitude

are à100Questions.

• Total Marks for  section of  Reasoning & Numerical Aptitude à200 Marks)

ii). Clerical Aptitude test ::

• Total no of questions for section of Clerical Aptitude are – 50Questions.
• Total Marks for section of Clerical Aptitude – 50 Marks.

iii) English Language Test (50 Questions, 50 Marks)

• Total no of questions for section of English Language are – 50Questions.

• Total Marks for  section of English Language à50 Marks)

Bank of India Written Examination Details:

• The duration of written exam is 60 minutes.
• This test consists of ability of knowledge on current developments and communication skills.
• In Descriptive Test  a candidate  must obtain a minimum of 50% marks , incase (SC/ST/OBC category) they must obtain  35% marks . But the marks so obtained are not added in the aggregate marks for preparing merit list.
• Exam contains 5 compulsory questions with internal options.

Bank of India Personal Interview details:

A personal interview will be conducted for 100 Marks to assess the candidate’s 1.academic ,record interpersonal relations adaptability.

2. Courtesy motivation, general demeanor.

3. Candidates attitude towards work, communication skill etc…………

Minimum mark to attend Personal Interview:

The minimum qualifying marks for candidate to attend personal interview would be around 50% for general candidates and (45% for Reserved Category candidates).
