Candidates who have worked in Banking/Financial Services/Broking industry and with working knowledge in the functional areas Production, Maintenance, Quality can apply for this position.

HDFC Production Support Engineer Job Description :

• Identifying the root causes of incidents in order to prevent future recurrence for all applications under his purview.
• Problem management for applications under his purview.
• Conduct regular SFR meetings & coordinate with vendor/BPRG for problem resolution and follow ups for all applications under his purview
• Coordinate the review, presentation and release of all SLA deliverable and other documentation pertaining all applications under his purview
• Ensure that all team members / Vendor (i.e. Technical Analysts / Programmers) perform the delegated tasks according to set timelines.
• Conducting & preparing Application, DB, O/S Baselines, Security documents as per the SOX guidelines.
• Serve as a focal point to communicate and resolve interface and integration issues with other teams.
• Keep the Project Manager informed of task accomplishment, issues and status. Escalate issues that cannot be resolved by the team to the Project Manager.
• Assist team in achieving best possible design solution for functional requirements for all applications under his purview
• Collection of necessary data for MIS preparation for all applications under his purview
• Participation in new projects implementation and PMG Movement to production complies processes
• Managing UAT infrastructure for all applications under his purview
• Attending Change Control Board meetings & planning the Change Control production movement for all applications under his purview
• Reviewing KB documents & publishing the same to DPC – L1.
• Execution of O.S and DB patch-set for all applications under his purview.

HDFC Bank Production Support Engineer Job requires candidates to have the following requirements

HDFC Production Support Engineer Job Requirements :

• Years of Exp: 4-6 years
• Relative experience in BFSI segment
• Unix / Windows / Web Technologies :- HTML, ASP, Java, .Net,WAS
• Shell Scripting Skills
• Problem solving skills
• RDBMS – Oracle /MSSQL.
