Indian Bank Recruitment – Indian Bank has announced job vacancy for the post of Probationary officer with a vacancy of 118 posts. Indian Bank invites application for the above mentioned post. Interested candidates can apply for the post of Probationary officer and specialist officer only through Online in Indian Bank official website http://www.indianbank.in/.
The online registration starts on 16th October 2009.The last date for applying online for post of PO – Probationary Officer is 16th November 2009.The date of written examination for the post of PO – Probationary officer in Indian Bank is 17th January 2010.
Age Limit:
The candidates to applying for the post of Probationary Officer in Indian Bank should be between 21yrs to 30 yrs as on 1st July 2009.

The total no of vacancy for the post of PO – Probationary Officer in Indian Bank are 118 posts.
Eligibility Criteria:
- The candidate applying for the post of PO Probationary officer must be a citizen of India.
- The candidate must be a graduate/post graduate from any recognized university with aggregate of 55%. percentage.
- The candidate must have computer knowledge, they must have knowledge in using application packages and in office automation, computer environment.
- For SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates relaxation of minimum mark for educational qualification will be allowed upto 5%(percent) will be allowed.

The candidate applying for the post of Probationary Officer in Indian Bank must take must pay Rs400 (incase of SC/ST candidates they must pay Rs 50) in any nearest Indian Bank Branches using challan downloaded from Indian Bank website. Indian Bank Probationary Officer written Exam Details:
The written exam for the post of Probationary officer will commence on 17th January 2010.The written examination will be conducted in the following centers Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi, Port Blair, Trichy, Vijayawada, Bangalore, Chennai, Coimbatore, Ernakulam.
Call Letter for written examination:
The eligible candidates if they don’t get call letter on or before 11-January – 2010 can contact Indian Bank between 12-January-2010 and 16- January- 2010.

Is there any relaxation for a state level sportsman,who represented his school in basketball state level championship and brought great laurel for his school,he was also awarded with a certificate and a trophy , for the best “All Rounder” during his school tenure.
I am Post Graduate with 72% but i got 52% in Graduation(requirement is 55% in Graduation).could i apply for PO post.Please reply as early as possible so that i can apply accordingly.
