Karur Vysya Bank limited – KVB PO Jobs 2009 Notification : Karur Vysya Bank limited, a leading private sector bank invites application for the post of Probationary Officer Scale-I .To apply for the post of Probationary Officer Scale-I the candidates must be a graduate either B.E., B.TECH , or any Post Graduate candidates from affiliated college of recognized university with 60% and above first class in their college academic years.
The last date for applying for the post of probationary officer in the Karur Vysya Bank is on 26th September 2009. To apply online visit the karur vysya banks official website www.kvb.co.in .
The date of examination for the post of Probationary Officer in Karur Vysya will be informed shortly.
Eligibility For applying for the Post of Probationary Officer (PO):
1. College Academic Qualification:
The candidates applying for the post of Probationary Officer in Karur Vysya bank should be a graduate wither B.E. , B.Tech or Post graduate from any college affiliated to a recognized University with 60% and above first class in their college academic years .
For SC/ST:
SC/ST Candidates should have secured 50% and above in the B.E.,B.TECH or Post Graduate degree in their college academic year.
SC / ST candidates applying for Karur Vysya Bank PO Jobs, Kindly note:
- The SC/ST candidates should submit the proof for their caste while appearing for written examination for the post of probationary officer – PO for karur vysya bank.
- Mere eligibility will not vest any right on the candidates for being called for Written Test.
- Final decision – Bank’s decision will be the final decision in the process of selection.
- No correspondence degree graduate/post graduate candidates belonging to SC/ST caste are not allowed/eligible to apply for the probationary officer exam.
Age Limit:
- To apply for the post of PO in karur vysya bank, the candidates must not be more than 30 years as per the date 31.08.2009.
- Incase of SC/ST candidates -Relaxation of 5 years is allowed especially for SC/ST candidates
INSTRUCTIONS FOR 2009 PASS-OUTS:
Candidates who have completed P.G Degree course in the year 2009 and if they are awaiting results, such candidates may also apply for the post of probationary officer.
If the candidates are selected for the post of probationary officer they have to submit their original Provisional Degree Certificate at the time of joining the Karur Vysya Bank,
(Note:
Candidates who have completed their degree through correspondence/open university are not eligible for applying for the post of probationary officer in Karur vysya bank.)
For applying for the Post of Probationary Officer(PO) the candidates requires Technical Knowledge:
- The candidates who are applying for the post of probationary officer should have computer science knowledge.
For Non Computer Students/Candidates:
- For the non Computer Science candidates they should have done/posses at least a minimum of three months Computer Course in a well known or well established Institution.
Selection Process for Probationary Officer in KVB bank:
Selection Pattern KVB PO Jobs:
Selection pattern depends on the candidates’ performance in
1. Written test
2. Personal Interview.
- The candidates appearing for probationary bank exam for karur vysya bank will first attend the written test.
- Intimation will be sent only to the selected candidates in the Written Test / Interview.
- Once the candidates clear the written test, he/she will be eligible to attend the Personal interview/Direct interview.
General Instruction:
- The Eligible candidates/applicants will appear for the written test or skill test and attend their personal interview at their own expense at the places on the specific dates as instructed or notified by the Bank.
- Selected Candidates for the appointment will be on Probation period for 1 (one) year
- As per the administrative requirements and discretion of the Bank, the Selected Candidates are liable to be placed in any place allover India.
- If any information given by the applicants/candidates are found to be improper/false/ not correct/ misrepresented, their candidature is will be cancelled at any stage without notice of candidates.
KVB PO Posts Examination Centre Details:
The examination for the post of Probationary officer in Karur vysya bank will be held at selected centers as displayed below
- Andhra Pradesh
- Karnataka
- TamilNadu
- Gujarat
- Maharashtra
- Delhi.
How to apply for the post of PROBATIONARY OFFICER in Karur Vysya Bank:
- To apply for the post of probationary officer the applicants should take DD Demand Draft AMMOUNT for Rs.250/- (Incase of SC/ST Candidates Rs.100/-) drawn in favor of THE KARUR VYSYA BANK LIMITED and it should payable at CHENNAI only.
- While appearing for written test the Candidates must compulsorily bring the demand draft (DD). It will be collected by the invigilators in the examination hall.
- The last date for applying for the post of probationary officer in the Karur Vysya Bank is on 26th September 2009.

In Resume data entry
- Providing E-mail id is mandatory.
- All the Karur vysya bank correspondences viz. Exam call letters, Interview call letters etc. will be sent only through E-mail and hard copy of the same will not be sent to the applicants/candidates.
- So applicants kindly ensure that you have entered the correct email id before saving your resume.
- Instruction for 2009 PASSOUT Candidates awaiting for RESULTS:
In Resume data entry,
- The candidates who are awaiting for results should enter the aggregate percentage of marks up to the previous semester.
- However the final selection will be based on aggregate percentage of marks of all semesters.
- Marks in CGPA:
If the percentage of marks is in CGPA mode, the same should be converted into equivalent percentage and entered in the resume data entry.
(NOTE:
While applying for the post of probationary officer in Kvb the applicants/candidates are advised to note down the reference number received through mail for future correspondences.)
