State Bank of India (SBI) is one of the India’s largest Banks. The recruitment of probationary officers in State Bank of India is done in 3 levels. The 1st level includes sections like general awareness, quantitative aptitude, English and reasoning. The 2nd level has 2 sections namely objective and descriptive sections. The objective test includes sections like test of reasoning, marketing knowledge, data analysis and interpretation and test in English. The descriptive Test includes group discussion and interview.
The candidate need to score minimum of 40 %( general category) and 35 %( reserved category) in all the three stages. Final selection is made on the basis of aggregate marks obtained by the candidate.

LEVEL1 PO EXAM PATTERN in SBI:
The level1 is an objective type of exam which has to be completed within2.hours.
The level 1 test consists of the following sections:
- Test of reasoning.
- Quantitative Aptitude
- General awareness/computer knowledge
- English language
To get selected to the next level the candidate need to score minimum of 40%(general category) and 35%( reserved category).
SBI LEVEL 2 PO EXAM PATTERN:
The Level 2 has 2 sections
1 Objective Test
2 Descriptive Test
The Objective Test has to be completed within 2 hours and The Descriptive Test has to be completed within 1 hour.
Objective Test Pattern of SBI PO exam:
The Objective Test Pattern consists of the following sections:
- Test of Reasoning,
- Data Analysis and Interpretation,
- Marketing Knowledge,
- Test of English Language
To get selected to the final level the candidate need to score minimum of 40%(general category) and 35%( reserved category) in each of four objective type sections and in the descriptive test as well. The candidate securing high marks will be given more preference for the final level.

In the level 3 exam the candidate has to attend
- group discussion
- interview
