Question1: What is the selection criteria for SBI Clerk Jobs 2009?
Answer: Selection process for Sbi clerk jobs is split into two parts one the Written Test & two is the Interview.

Question 2: Is there a minimum passing score in written test ?
A: The passing mark/cut off mark in each test will be decided by State bank of India on the basis of the performance of all the candidates.But candidates have to score minimum 40% aggregate to become eligible for Interview.(again,the bank has the right to change this score also)

Question 3: What does SBI Job written test contain ?
A: The Written Test has the following sections – (i)General Awareness (ii)General English (iii)Quantitative Aptitude (iv)Reasoning Ability & (v) Marketing Aptitude/ Computer knowledge.

Question 4: Will the questions in the test carry Negative Marking?
A: YES.There is negative marking in the test & 1/4 th mark will be reduced for each wrong answer.

Question 5: How many candidates are probable to be called for Interview?
A: According to SBI release,the ratio of candidates : vacancy is maximum of 3 candidates : 1 vacancy.So approximately 33,000 candidates can be expected to be called for Interview.
