South Indian Bank 2010 Recruitment – 200 Clerks

The South Indian Bank Ltd is inviting applications from Indian nationals for filling up vacancies of CLERKS for branches in KERALA and TAMILNADU.

About South Indian Bank : South Indian Bank Ltd.(SIB) head quartered in Kerala, is one of the earliest banks in Southern India. South Indian bank by number of branches operated is the 3rd largest private sector bank in India  the bank operates a network of over 388 Atms, 550 branches across the country.

As part of its expansion plans the bank has announced recruitment of 2010-11 and is inviting applications for 200 clerk posts.

Post – Clerks (Kerala & Tamilnadu)

Vacancies – 200 posts

Payscale – Rs.7200 – 19300  

Important Dates : Online registration should be done between 11.08.2010 to 31-08-2010

Last date for receipt of application is 7-09-2010 and date of written examination is 10-10-2010

Eligibility Criteria : Candidates who are interested to apply for Clerk Posts in South Indian bank has to fulfill the following criteria set by the bank.

• Candidates applying should be within 20-26 yrs of age as on 31-08-2010.
• 5 yrs for sc-st graduate with at least 50% marks in science stream or 45% marks in other streams.
• Candidates should be proficient in computers operations.

Selection Process: The Selection process for South Indian Bank Clerk jobs is based on written test and interview. Written test will be held on 10th October 2010 at centres in Tamilnadu and Kerala.

Application Procedure : Candidates are allowed only to apply ON-LINE through Bank’s website www.southindianbank.com . No other means/modes
of applications will be accepted. Before the registration, candidates are requested to ensure that there is a valid email id in his/her name.

Application fees : Fees can be paid in any of the branches of The South Indian Bank Ltd. after producing the print out of the challan form which will be generated after the successful registration of online application. The payment at the branches can be made at any time after 2 hours from the online registration till the last date indicated above. Fees to be paid with the application is listed below
