Union Bank of India a leading public sector bank in India has invited applications to fill various posts across different categories ranging from GM’s, CA’s, Mechanical Engineers to Probationary Officers. Candidates can apply online through the Bank’s website www.unionbankofindia.co.in after payment of fees between 02.11.2010 and 22.11.2010. Candidates can also apply through any of the Union Bank of India branches across India.

Application Fee : Fee paid to the bank is non-refundable

(a) For SC/ST/XS/PWD candidates - (No Fees Required).
(b) For all others (including OBC) - Rs. 300/-

Requisite Application Fee may be paid at any of the branch of the Union Bank of India only in Current A/c No. 37890 1010036586 from 02.11.2010 to 22.11.2010

Eligibility Criteria : Candidates who are interested to apply for the 1165 PO cadre positions have to fulfill the following eligibility criteria.

• A Graduate Degree with minimum 55% marks (50% for Reserved Category candidates) in the aggregate in the final year of Graduation (50% for Reserved Category candidates)from a UGC recognised / AICTE Accredited University / Institution
• Diploma in Banking & Finance (DBF) from the Indian Institute of Banking & Finance (IIBF), (Preferable)
• Age of the Candidate as on 31.10.2010 should be of Minimum age – 21 years and Maximum age –30 years. Relaxation is applicable for SC/ST candidates.
• Certificate in computer course is necessary for all the applicants or candidates who have done computers as part of their curriculum in UG/PG level.

Selection Process: Selection procedure for the recruitment of Union Bank of India 1165 PO Vacancies is through Written Exam and Interview. Candidates preparing for the exams have to keep in note that there is also Negative marking applicable. Applicants who score the highest in the test will only be called for personal interview.
