Union Bank of India has announced job opportunity for the post of clerk with a vacancy of 1040 posts. Interested candidates can apply online in the Union Bank of India Official Website www.unionbankofindia.co.in .The online registration starts on 1^st October 2009.The last date of online registration is 31^st October 2009.The fees has to be paid between October 1^st 2009 to October 30^th 2009 dates .The written exam for clerk post will commence on 10^th January 2010.

Age Limit:

The candidate within the age limit of  18 to 28 years can apply for the clerk job in Union Bank of India.

No of Posts Available:

A total of 1040 posts are available for the post of Clerk in Union Bank of India.

Salary Details:

In Union Bank of India the salary for the post of clerk will range from Rs.4410 to Rs.13210 .

Educational Qualification:

• The candidate must have secured  60% of aggregate marks in 10^th and +2 (12^TH Board Exam (or)

• The candidate must be a graduate from recognized university.
• The candidate must have computer knowledge and the candidate should have done computer course in any computer training centre (for candidates who are graduates in computer it is not necessary for them to do computer course.).
• The candidate/applicant must have knowledge to read and write and speak fluently in their state language.

Union Bank of India – Clerk Selection Process:

The selection process for the post of clerk in Union bank of India will start with a written test (based on computer knowledge –objective test), the selected candidates in written test will be eligible to attend the direct/personal interview.

Note: Negative marking will considered for each wrong answers in objective test .

Application and Fees Details:

General Candidates must pay Rs.300 (No fees for SC/ST Candidates) in any near by Union Bank of India Branch in their state between 1st October 2009 and 30^th October 2009, and they can obtain their receipt of payment along with their transaction id.

After paying the fees in Union Bank of India Branches , the candidate has to apply online for this job in Union Bank of India  official website www.unionbankofindia.co.in by quoting the receipt number in the application form on or before 31^st October 2009.

Candidates/applicants are requested to take two printouts of application .The printouts should be taken at the time of interview.
