Rupee weakens to 41.36 a Dollar

The Indian Rupee touched a 3-month low today (August 16) as foreign investors soldoff their positions in Indian equity market on mounting losses in global equities and worries of a credit squeeze.
The Rupee ended at 41.36/37 a Dollar — its low for the day and its weakest since early May, 1.5% weaker than its Tuesday`s close of 40.75/76, reports iris.
