RBI Jobs for Grade B Officers have been announced and lot of applicants would have applied for the posts. As per the notification by the bank, RBI will recruit 79 Grade B Officers for which candidates have to go through the rigorous selection process which is normally through clearing two phases of exams and then attending the interview.

The last date for sending applications for RBI Grade B Officer Jobs is already completed as per previous announcement on August 24th 2009.

Candidates who have already applied would be busy now preparing for RBI Exams. Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Grade B Officers examination will be held on 11th October 2009.  RBI Officers Exam first phase will be held in october 2009.

Phase-I: Objective Test Details :-

• The duration of Objective Test will be 3 hours.
• The total marks allotted for the objective test will be 200 marks.

The objective test will have the following sections/papers –

1. General awareness,

2. English Language,

3. Quantitative Aptitude,

4. Reasoning

Each candidate must score the minimum mark in each section of phase-1 objective test so that the candidate will be eligible for phase2-Descriptive test. (NOTE: The results for Phase 1 Objective test of (RBI) RESERVE BANK OF INDIA EXAM will be PUBLISHED/OUT by November 2009.)

Phase 2 Rbi Exams : Descriptive test:-

For the descriptive test the date and timing (of descriptive test) will be informed only to the candidates who were selected in the Phase 1- objective test.

The descriptive phase-2 test will contain three papers -

1.The first paper will be English – Paper I.

2. The second paper will be Economic and Social Issues - Paper II.

3. The third paper will be Finance and Management- Paper III.

The duration of each of these papers will be  3 hours , carrying 100 marks. Phase3- Direct Interview: Based on the score in Phase 2-descriptive Test , the Candidates would be short listed for Direct Interview .

• Direct Interview Selection Process:

For getting selected for direct interview the minimum marks will be decided by  the board depending on the overall performance of candidates and number of vacancies in RBI for the post of Grade-B Officer.
